Blackberry Torch 9860 – You can’t miss it

After a very long time, RIM introduced complete touch screen mobile phone in market with Blackberry Torch 9860. Physical QWERTY keyboard had become the signature of Blackberry since the beginning. It seems that Blackberry wants to change its image with this handset. Blackberry mobile phones are popular among the businessmen and professionals more. Even, these widgets also got synonymous of business phones. Now, this leading manufacturer wants to produce the handset for every age and social group. Before this handset, Blackberry only introduced one full touch screen phone with name Storm 2 and one semi-touch screen with slider keyboard with name Torch 9800.

Will Blackberry Torch 9860 change the image of company? It is a difficult question to answer. So, we would like to pass on it and wait for the consumer’s feedback. This beautiful device sports 3.7 inches capacitive touch screen which we did not find in any other Blackberry phone. It also provides high resolution of 480X800 pixels. Another important feature of the widget is its operating system. Yes, Blackberry recently introduced Blackberry OS7 in market and this device work on it. Mobile phone users get 4GB internal memory space with 768MB RAM. Good thing about the memory space is that consumers can expand the size of external memory up to 32GB according to the requirement.

Blackberry Torch 9860 is equipped with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, Five mega pixel camera, 1.2GHz processor and many more. All these features make the device fast and powerful. Currently, phone is available only in black color but company is planning to launch the device in different colors as well. New OS of Blackberry is quiet similar with Android but it contain only few hundred applications and games only.
